Joy and Pain

Joy and pain, like sunshine and rain! Don't know why, but lately the opening lyrics of that silly old rap song keep playing in my head!

Guess I've been thinking a lot lately about how the incredible contrasts of life are part of what helps us feel so alive. I mean really, think about it; so many people say they wish they could be at peace all the time, and complain, (especially in New England), about inclement weather, wishing they could stay in a perpetual spring. But truly ~ don't you think that would be just all so boring?

Be it your emotions or the weather, the painful times or rain can be just as rich when we can allow ourselves to simply be with what is, instead of trying to get rid of or change what is real for us in this moment. If we can hold ourselves as dearly through the dark times, when we do emerge into the light, (and trusting it will come) we will only shine that much brighter.

Love and Light To You,

Vitamin C for Sun Protection

Did you know that sunscreens can't do it all in the prevention of skin cancer? Sunscreen products work only on the skin's surface. Recent research indicates that sunscreens do not completely block UV-A rays... the ones that lead to wrinkles, brown spots or skin sagging.

Our powerful triple C & E serum gets absorbed deeper. Giving a one-two punch, used daily underneath your sunscreen it helps brighten, tighten, and even skin tone. It also helps knock out free-radicals that get past the sunscreen.

Client Magic

"One of the secrets passed on to me by my mother is an appreciation of being a woman in ways that some discount as vain, expensive habits that do not offer any health benefits. She grew up in a small town in Nebraska, and did not come from privilege or wealth. However she understood the value of taking care of oneself, inside and out.

She knew about staying out of the sun, cleansing the skin and moisturizing properly twice a day. Her example encouraged me to to seek information, quality products and more importantly a wonderful sense of self and well being, as well as the right as a woman to enjoy it all! No guilt for me!

The time I spend at reVive with Beth Ann is a welcome respite for the hectic times we live in. For me, it brings peace and a joyful connection to my mother, who has given me permission to be the very best woman I can be.

The personalized, healing treatments and excellent products I receive from Beth Ann have rejuvenated my skin as well as helped bring balance to my inner life."

Flax for Fabulous Skin

This amazing little seed packs a power house of nutritional value!

Flax contains omega-3 fatty acids which help protect the skin by increasing natural oils, keeping skin soft and preventing dryness. It also contains lignans, a type of phytoestrogen that may protect against certain cancers, lower cholesterol and contains many vitamins, minerals, potassium, soluble and insoluble fiber - wow!

When you use it, be sure to grind fresh in a coffee grinder to extract all the essential oils. So easy to add two teaspoons to your morning smoothie.
