Your Inner Sunrise

When today is not going well, it is tempting to focus on tomorrow as a blank slate with all the possibilities that newness provides. It is true that tomorrow will be a brand new day, but we do not have to wait until tomorrow to start fresh. We can begin anew at any moment, clearing our energy field of any negativity that has accumulated, and call this very moment the beginning of our brand new day.

We can cultivate that new rising sun energy inside ourselves, carrying it with us through night and day to awaken and renew our spirits.

One simple way to do this is to carry an image of the rising sun in your wallet, or post it on the wall at work or home. Then when you have a need to start fresh, you can take a moment to gaze at the image, allowing the light to enter your heart. As you do this, you may want to affirm, "I am ready to let go of the past and start anew". Visualize what you want to release leaving, as you exhale, and take in the fresh energy and promise of the sun, allowing it to light your way to a brand-new day.

Wishing you a season of Warmth, Promise and Renewal,
Beth Ann

Spring Into Better Skin

Now that daylight savings is here, we can all breathe a sigh of relief that spring is on it's way. As we say farewell to our coats and boots, and welcome t-shirts and sandals, we should also take time to examine our skin. Winter takes a toll on skin, and spring is a great time to do damage control - especially since more of it will be showing!

Here are a couple of fun and easy ways to help to put your best face forward:

DIY Papaya Peel - Papaya contains very active enzymes that will help clear away dead skin cells. In a food processor, blend 1/2 cup ripe papaya,1 tsp. Yogurt, 1 tsp. Honey. Apply to clean face for 20 minutes. Remove with warm cloth. Use ripe papaya for a gentler exfoliation.

Don't get caught by surprise - Avoid sun damage and burn. Wear a broad spectrum sunscreen everyday, even though it looks to be cloudy.

Invest in a cute hat - It should have at least a 3 inch brim. Sorry, baseball hats don't count! Visit www.physicianendorsed.com for some great fashion options. Sunblock will only stop you from burning, it will not prevent wrinkles, brown spots and collagen loss. Remember, it's the only face you have, so treat it with care.

Slather with Shea - I have found nothing as reparative as pure Soy Shea Lavender Body Butter($14) to rejuvenate and obliterate that alligator skin on my arms and legs. It is unrefined to maintain all of the healing properties. Also amazing for distressed hands and feet!

Who Do You Know?

Who do you know that is a wellness practitioner, such as a body/energy worker, massage therapist, counselor, nutritionist etc. that is looking for a beautiful and peaceful space for their practice?

I am looking to connect to a synergistic person to share my space with. If you are in relationship with someone that you think may be a perfect fit, I appreciate your contacting me or sending them my way.
