Take Care of You First!

I'm sure you've all heard of the analogy of heeding the flight attendant's advice regarding an emergency. "Put on your own oxygen mask before helping others."

But why wait for an emergency? Why not consider taking care of yourself before you begin providing service to others, be they your family, friends or clients.

For those of you who feel that others receive more of your care and concern than you receive from yourself, you may want to consider these questions:

  • What adjustments could you make in order to have more time for yourself in the morning... and throughout the day?
  • What difference could you make in the lives of others if you were fully committed to taking care of yourself first?
  • What small step could you take today that would improve the relationship you have with yourself? Remember that if you don't take care of you first, you will not have much left to give to others.
So be good to you and Enjoy!

Eating for Beauty and Anti-Aging

There is a new movement out there for the beauty of skin, a new word for an ancient principle. It's called beutrician, a combination of beauty and nutrition. It is based on the theory that the things you put inside your body have a direct effect on the way things look on the outside. Luckily by focusing on eating the best things, you can help bring out the most beautiful glow possible.

Eating a diet rich in anti-oxidants, particularly raw fruits and vegetables in all the colors of the rainbow, will help stimulate collagen growth, nourish skin and repair damage.

Another important element for healthy skin is omega-3 fatty acids and oils. You can finds these in flax seeds and extra virgin olive oil. Salmon (or a high quality fish oil like Nordic Naturals), nuts and seeds also contain this essential helper for healthy skin.

And last, but not least, is the imperative 8 glasses of filtered water. So important for healthy skin, to help detoxify, support regular elimination, and sustain healthy energy levels. If you only drink when you actually feel thirsty, you are probably chronically dehydrated and need to be more conscious of regulating your intake.

Please visit my nutrition site www.ReviveWithJuicePlus.com to find out more about an easy and convenient way to increase your daily intake of anti-aging fruits and vegetables.

New! Mineral Make-up on the Go

You all love the beauty, ease, and natural sun protection of mineral make-up foundation!

I am excited to offer two new gorgeous palettes that include foundation, bronzer, blushes, lip colors, eye liners, shadows and highlighter. These colors are also refillable. They even come with high quality brushes for application. Not those crappy ones that usually come in a blush case, that you might as well throw out!

When I travel, my palette has everything I need in one easy and convenient container. The beauty of mineral make-up is that it is so healthy and pure, and the colors can be used dual purpose for, eyes, lips or cheeks!

I would be glad to provide a complimentary "mineral glow" lesson. Please be sure to let me know in advance, if you would like to add this on to your regular treatment. This will allow me to provide ample time.
