Happy New Year!
When it comes to New Year resolutions,
there is equal comfort in starting with a clean slate as in knowing
that you're not alone in your efforts. It seems that the most
popular resolves are some version of being healthier - losing
weight, eating better, and exercising more often - all of which are
historically more successful when tackled with company.
Legions of women see themselves as the
nurturers of the species, readily denying their own well-being to
help others first, whether child, spouse, friend, job or community.
As that pop icon of the '90s Susan Powter used to say "Stop the
insanity!" It is vitally important for good health that we take the
time to recharge, strengthen and tune into our emotional and
physical cores.
As you set out on the path to better
living, consider the truth in the cliché that you can't truly love
someone else until you love yourself. Thank you for allowing me to
contribute to your health and well-being. |

The holiday parties with all their
treats and temptations are over. You're back to your normal healthy
diet and finding time to exercise again. The problem - you've
accumulated some extra weight, and are having a hard time fitting
into your jeans.
As we age, our metabolism slows down.
I found that even though I was exercising daily and eating a clean
diet, I was putting on weight that I could not shed. The weight loss
patch uses trans dermal technology to slowly release a natural and
safe herbal formula throughout the day. It helps boost metabolism
and burn fat, particularly around the middle, where it's so
difficult to lose.
Many of my clients have found it also
boosts energy without the jitters, elevates their mood, and helps
them sleep more soundly. Personally, I am thrilled to have lost the
extra weight without any deprivation or changing my diet, and can
wear jeans I haven't worn for a year!
Please feel free to contact me for all
the details.
Ask Ms. Skin
Q. Dear Ms. Skin,
I'm using a richer moisturizer to help combat the central heat and
cold, but my skin still feels dry with flaky patches, and is also
more red than usual.
Amy in Antarctica
A. Dear Amy,
There are three ways to help promote supple and healthy skin in cold
weather conditions:
- Topically - Add a few drops of Nutriment Blue Oil
to your moisturizer to boost the healing benefits. Add in
R-Relief Serum to calm redness and inflammation.
- Internally - Take 2 capsules daily of ProEfa w/
Borage Oil to help boost your immune system and relieve dry
and scaly skin - I have also had great results for clients with
eczema!
- Environmentally - Use a humidifier at night. I cannot
stress this enough! Did you know that you can lose up to a quart
of water at night through perspiration? After years of dealing
with yucky filters and laborious cleaning procedures I was so
happy to discover
www.Venta-airwasher.com. This revolutionary machine cleans the
air as well as humidifying, and is extremely low maintenance. Help
prevent colds and give your parched skin the moisture it craves!
Hands down, the best guacamole I have ever had - thanks for the
recipe Michelle!
