reVive, dedicated to therapies that create visible change and help your skin come into its perfect balance.

In this month of romance, try creating some time for self- care!

The most basic and precious tenet of self nurturing is to take time out for restoration and renewal. Taking time off allows you to be more efficient when you return to the task at hand. Relaxation is not a treat, it is necessary for your physical and emotional health.

And if you value your time and set limits on what you do for others, they will respond in kind and treat you with respect. How many of you feel frustrated because you are unable to find the time to do the things that are important to you?

Remember. You are in charge of your life. It may not always seem like it, but we do choose to be too busy or to be bored. I know that may not be a very comforting thought, but it is a liberating one.

Try to find the time to care for yourself. Make it a priority! Self-care will enrich all your relationships immeasurably.

                                        Yours in service,
                                         Beth Ann

An Antidote for Tired, Winter Skin....

Ask Ms. Skin

Q. Dear Ms. Skin,
Do you have any tips to help rehydrate during the day? By mid-afternoon my skin starts feeling dry, tight, and lackluster.

                      Linda J.

A. Dear Linda,
I recommend spritzing with Mystic Hydrating Spray. This refreshing mist can be easily used even if you already have on makeup. It is perfect for all skin types as it is oil-free. Even oily skin gets dehydrated!

Mystic utilizes heavy water, which allows it to stay on the skin longer, resists evaporation, and plumps and hydrates the skin.

Also a great companion for air travel and after sun. Mystic will refresh your skin and senses with the uplifting added botanicals of sage, cucumber and lime

Special for February, Try Mystic at a 10% savings, you will love it!

Pear Nut Muffins

Try baking up a batch of these healthy treats to sweeten up your morning!

1/2 cup ground almonds or walnuts
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup white flour
11/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2  tsp salt
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp canola oil
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup buttermilk
1 egg
1 1/2 cups finely diced pear
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix together dry ingredients, up to salt in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Make a well in the center. Mix together brown sugar, oil, vanilla, buttermilk and egg. Add to the dry ingredients, mixing just to moisten. Add pears and chopped walnuts. Bake in lined or greased muffin pans for 15-20 minutes, or until they test done.

Makes 15-16 muffins.
